Juneteenth Road to Freedom Commemoration

Join First United Methodist Church on Sunday, June 22nd, in our annual commemoration of Juneteenth.  The theme this year is “Road to Freedom” and will include a focus on the Underground Railroad.  The event runs from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm and includes southern comfort food from Aunt Tina’s Kitchen, live music by the Evon Sams Jazz Combo, guest speaker, Jahmal Cole, and a silent auction of handmade quilts and quilting art all representing aspects of the Underground Railroad.  This is a FREE event.
