Sunday Mornings at First Church

  • What time is Worship?  Join us for SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP at 9:30 am. You can also worship with on Facebook, Facebook.com/FirstUMCElmhurst
  • What should we wear?  Casual and up!
  • When is Children’s Church?   Children’s Church Service Sunday is the first Sunday of every month from 9:15 – 10:15 during the school year. Adult classes are held from 9:15-10:15 a.m.
  • Are children welcome in  Worship? Of course. Children of all ages are welcome to attend Worship with their families.  Following the Children’s Word, Children age 3 through 2nd grade may go to the North Room for Children’s Church.  But of course, they are welcome to stay in Worship.
  • When is Communion celebrated?  Always on the first Sunday of each month, the Service of Holy Communion is also  celebrated on Easter and  Christmas Eve.  Whatever your religious background, you are welcome at the table.
  • Fellowship. Following Worship join us for refreshments at the back of the Sanctuary.
