First Church believes that all children are a special blessing from God and that, as a church family, it is our responsibility to do all that we can to increase their faith, confirm their hope, and encourage them in love.
We offer weekly Sunday School classes during the school year for children ages 5 through 5th grade from 10:45-11:30 a.m. in Room 102. Our teachers use the Cokesbury Celebrate Wonder Curriculum to engage children’s natural sense of curiosity to help them understand God’s love. Our programs on Sunday mornings and other special events expose children to Biblical truths in order to help them become the people that God created them to be.

Vacation Bible School was a blast! Our children learned all the things God has called His Heroes to do; Heroes are called to Follow Jesus, Help Others, Work Together, Listen to God, and Show Grace!
