Sunday School
First Church believes that all children are a special blessing from God and that, as a church family, it is our responsibility to do all that we can to increase their faith, confirm their hope, and encourage them in love.
We offer weekly Children’s Church during the school year for children ages 5 through 5th grade from 10:45-11:30 a.m. downstairs in Room 102. Our teachers use the Cokesbury Celebrate Wonder Curriculum to engage children’s natural sense of curiosity to help them understand God’s love. Our programs on Sunday mornings and other special events expose children to Biblical truths in order to help them become the people that God created them to be using:
- Storytelling or Drama
- Art
- Science
- Games
- Acolyte program for 3rd through 5th graders to serve at 10:30 a.m. Worship
- Bible Mentor Program and Bibles presented to 3rd through 5th graders
