Youth Breakfast Ministry

Our youth host a breakfast for our clothing center guests the 3rd Saturday of every month, September through April. The youth prepare and serve breakfast to between 30 and 90 guests during the breakfast ministry. In addition, the Youth Breakfast Ministry provides a warm space where we can get to know our neighbors in a welcoming environment.

The Community Arts Program

This Community Arts Program began in the Fall of 2021. Lead by adult music teachers and assisted by youth musicians, a music class is provided to the children who visit the clothing center each month. These classes have been designed by a music educator and performer to not only be fun, but to cover areas of listening that have proven to prepare young minds for excellence in reading, math, and other educational skills. In addition, children are given the opportunity to take free weekly piano lessons. For more information contact Lisa Rogers, Director of Children & Youth Ministries.  630-834-2440, extension 102.

The Community Arts Program was made possible by a grant from UMCOR
